To Every Member of the R2U Family — Arc Ayodele Ayorinde, FNIA | 24th Anniversary
Today we mark twenty-four years of refusing to accept mediocrity in Nigerian architecture. We have delivered two federal barracks in one year — a feat unseen in three decades. We have built Nigeria’s greenest tower. We have stood in Singapore and told the world the next century belongs to Africa. None of this exists without you. To the site engineers, quantity surveyors, architects who worked through harmattan dust in Yola, Kano and Abuja. To the graduates who ran 400 façade iterations at 3 a.m. To Offa Segun and the ICT team who made barracks smarter than most airports. To the accountants who made every naira count. To the cleaners who kept our studios sacred. You are not employees. You are co-authors of history.
Thank you. From the depth of my being.
